Working Principle

The liquid or slurry is pumped into the pressure vessel. Under pressure, the liquid passes through the filter media (filter paper or cloth) mounted on both sides of each disc. Solid particles are retained on the surface, forming a filter cake, while the clear filtrate exits through the outlet. After filtration, the vessel is opened and the filter cake is manually removed.
